Your support is important to our work at DIVYANG. There are many ways you can contribute towards our causes, and every little bit that you commit goes a long way in helping us fulfill our mission.
Divyang offers 4 main teams to its volunteers, namely:
Research and Content team
Outreach team
Design and edit team
Finance team
Here are a few common guidelines for volunteering at Divyang:
Volunteering hours- overall 5-6 hours per week
Volunteers must be responsible, active and must be willing to participate in discussions.
Only a limited number of volunteers will be selected depending on the team they choose to be a part of.
At the end of the volunteering period, we offer our volunteers with a certificate with a mention of the volunteering hours they've put in.

Research and content team
his team will be involved in the process of coming up with the content for our posts and researching about different programs and projects.
The Research and content team will be responsible for the following:
Releasing quality content for our social platforms.
Monitoring the performance of social media platforms.
Researching for the content that we put out on our platform and different programs and projects that we will get involved with.
Come up with ideas for content.
They will be defining the sructure of the weekly newsletters and create content for it .
Design and Edit
This team will bring out the creative aspect of our organisations. The role of this team is a very important one as they are the ones who will be transforming content to make it look attractive.
Volunteers of this team must be hands on with graphic designing or editing.
The design and edit team will be responsible for the following:
Dealing with the designing and editing our posts for and website from the content obtained.
Along with the posts , the design team will also be designing the weekly newsletters
Finance team
This team will be handling the finances of the organisations and will help in mobilising funds for the same. They will be responsible for crowdfunding, financial planning.
The finance team will be responsible for the following:
Collect funds for fund-raising .
Noting of weekly/monthly cash incomes and payments .
Help in purchasing the required items .
Maintaining an Excel sheet / account book to keep a check and track the flow of transactions.
Outreach Team
This team is responsible for handling the social media pages, the marketing and communication. We currently are on Instagram and will soon have Facebook and Twitter. There will be limited volunteering spots for this team { 5-6 members max}
the outreach team will be responsible the following:
Marketing for the content we put up on our social media and website to create awareness about the programs and project we are involved in.
Handling the chats, mails about the questions that come up on our social pages.
Helping in spreading the word about our posts and organisation through marketing
Communicating and collaborating with other organisations for collaboration.
Conducting live talks and webinars.
Updating all the volunteers regarding the newest trends
Coming up with ideas to make the content more exciting, ie ideas for reels, igtv and stories and marketing strategies and posting the content on our pages.
